The Nassal Company’s scope of work included production of fabrication drawings, as well as the fabrication and installation of all immersive exhibit dioramas, period specific façades, carved stucco, faux trees, rockwork, scenic treatments, kiosks, time pillars, reader rails, exhibit platforms, fiber-optic lighting and propping. Exhibits include the Slave Pen, The Struggle Today, From Slavery to Freedom, The Hall of Everyday Freedom Heroes, and the Brothers of the Borderland.

The $110 Million Freedom Center facility features three pavilions celebrating courage, cooperation, and perseverance. The story of freedom is woven through the heroic legacy of the Underground Railroad and the American struggle to abolish human enslavement and secure freedom for all people. The Freedom Center offers lessons and reflections on the struggle for freedom in the past, in the present, and for the future.
